However, I would add that while behavioral data is critical for marketers, it must be contextual and in real time as consumers don’t necessarily act on their immediate needs. The WHY behind their decision to engage or purchase is the key to marketing effectiveness. The more you understand a consumer’s underlying values, beliefs, motivators and purchase drivers, the closer you can come to truly understanding your audience, improve targeting, achieve greater relevancy and influence purchasing behavior in a way that accelerates results. It’s not about more data, it’s about the right data.
